Welcome on board!!

( Stand up with your bows and arrows )
The main goal of this blog is to spread the Lakota voice, make them known for their true history, culture, beliefs, values, but to learn about Lakota Nation as well as other Nations nowadays is  to know also the real situation of the reservations and how they face their sacred religion respectfuly.

I think that people who want to approuch of any Native Nation culture and religion, is necessary at least be aware of their history and their ancestors, the ones who fought for them and let their legacy, and respect them!!

However, The Native Time´s task is not just about Lakota Nation and people, but all Native  Nations int he world, all interesting  information can be shared here.

Also there will be here some of important and awesome native people, their work and short biography will be here as well as all news and comments they want to, cause I really think that people can learn from them...thru them, many people can get to know their Nations, people, culture.

Well, I guess I must start up here by answering a question which has been made to me millions of times : Why do I have such passion or deep connection with this Nation  Which  I ´ve never had contact of any kind with, and Why I didn´t create a blog to discuss about my own people, the Indian tribes of Brazil .

The answer is very simple my friend: I don´t know, I never knew how to answer this question)There is no way to explain something that come from our souls and grows in our hear ....I believe that when your soul faces and recognizes something that might be part of you, it turns you a fullfilled human being..sometimes we might have let unfinished things in the past and theses things can come back to you one day....and..If the issue is big enough it will guide you ..as a river that flows...Naturally....Eventhough I will discuss here about my own people too, of course, I have an Indian heritage too, but as it is usual here, it get lost thru the genenations.

Another Thing that really motivated me to create this blog is to warn people to not to be fooled by fake "medicine men" and new ages shamans who claim they were made shamans by the "Lakotas" and other nations, thing that most of time is a lie . I know it´s a very hard topic to discuss and I am very careful with it...but then the time comes I´ll blog here words from Natives cause just they can say this better....

So this Blog is an adventure to me, and I hope I can make these beautiful people be seen and known by what they really are, with no misunderstoods...comments,corrections or requestions are always welcome: sandra.padmaprem@gmail.com
